I am surprised at the point of fidelity to which a person reaches
Worry and bad thoughts are the pioneers,
which can make this world seem like a vile torment.
But we are still here, surviving like everyone else,
something that makes me think.
I don't know if I'm really thinking too much,
or if all this just leads to a cycle that translates to nothing,
but what I'm sure of is that I'm not being direct.
All my songs seem like a sequence but not a correct structure,
but what does it matter.
Those who listen to me somehow understand it too

Obsessions, premier album de Notturno, ne pouvait avoir de meilleur nom. Le black metal dépressif y commence avec douceur pour occuper vos pensées. Et une fois que le point de non retour a été franchi, il est dévastateur. Le champ des émotions exprimées par Kjiel est immense : colère, détresse et déprime hantent chacun de ses cris ; ses chuchotements traduisent une fatigue qui ne pourra jamais être soulagée — je comprends mieux pourquoi Imber Luminis a travaillé avec Eyelessight. Magnifique.
